USAC Lifeline Support

OptimERA Inc now supports lifeline in some of it’s market area. If you are a permanent resident in the Dutch Harbor / Unalaska service area (zip codes 99685 and 99692).

You may qualify for lifeline if your household income is less than 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines

OR

You may automatically qualify if you or someone in your household already participates in one of these federal assistance programs:

  • SNAP (Food Stamps)
  • Medicaid
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA / Section 8)
  • Veterans Pension or Survivors Benefit
  • Tribal programs such as:
    • Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) General Assistance
    • Tribally Administered TANF
    • Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
    • Head Start (income-based)
